WHY BARCELONA IS BEGINNING TO BELIEVE IN ITSELF
'Why Barcelona is beginning to believe in itself' published by Art Basel Stories
I was honoured to capture visuals for a story on Art Basel's editorial site, documenting the exciting developments in Barcelona’s art scene. The article explores Catalonia’s dynamic art ecosystem and its role in the global art world, with a focus on the European Nomadic Biennale, Manifesta. I had the pleasure of photographing some of the city’s most iconic locations, as well as Elvira Dyangani Ose, director of Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA).
The piece beautifully describes Barcelona as "a city where art emerges in unexpected places, from its bustling streets to its renowned galleries."
